CtrlAltChaos is a small, invite-only hosting project. This policy covers the information collected through this website.

What we collect

Contact form: if you send a message through the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, message content, IP address, and browser user agent, along with the time you sent it.

Waitlist signups: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address and any message you include.

Admin accounts: administrators of this site have a username, email, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text). Logging in sets a single session cookie, used only to keep you signed in - not for tracking or analytics.

We do not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site.

Third parties

• Contact form submissions are checked with Google reCAPTCHA to cut down on spam.
• This site loads the JetBrains Mono font from Google Fonts.
• Administrators may optionally sign in via Zitadel single sign-on (admin accounts only).

How long we keep it

Contact messages and waitlist entries are kept until an administrator manually deletes them. There's no automatic expiry.

Your choices

If you'd like a contact message or waitlist entry removed, email us (see the Contact page) and we'll delete it.
